President

Angus Reed is a seasoned real estate entrepreneur who has delivered over AU$1.2 billion in development projects for global investors. Drawing inspiration from his pioneering great-grandfather, Henry Reed, and his great-uncle, art patron John Reed, Angus brings a legacy of innovation to real estate and infrastructure.

Educated at RMIT (BA Accounting), Angus began his career in Melbourne’s CBD commercial property market. He served as Executive Director of Australia Asia Management Property Ltd, managing the Flinders Industrial Property Trust, and later became a shareholder in 90 East Inc., a managed security firm acquired by Bank One in 2003.

Angus co-founded Lyons Capital in 2003, leading major developments such as The Range (Croydon), Hutton Rise (Launceston), and Cambridge Park, Tasmania’s first 5-Star Green Star Office Design-rated project. Lyons Capital also delivered Wyndham Harbour, Victoria’s largest marina community, integrating low-carbon and biodiversity restoration initiatives.

With his wife Penelope, Angus has long championed climate resilience through renewable energy ventures including NU Energy, Click Energy, and TasRex, a Tasmanian-based company building grid-scale solar and wind assets.

In 2013, Angus launched Lyons USA in New York, focused on risk-adjusted real estate investment. He retains an interest in urban revitalisation near Newark Airport.

In 2020, Angus co-founded Lyons Development Group. The firm draws on five decades of combined experience to shape sustainable, globally informed property and infrastructure projects.
